i spent 10 minutes trying to figure out why swatting my alarm clock was not turning off my alarm. then i realized it was ‘s alarm. got up to reset his alarm, got cat attacked, and that was the end of my sleeping today.

i listened to some debussy on wqxr, and now i am up, cuz they started in on the news.

the morning is quiet – the rain hasn’t started yet.
