so work has been pretty nuts because we’ve been totally gut rennovating our datacenter, which means that i’ve been relocated into the middle of the area of the 40-odd people i support which means i never get more than five minutes of free time.<\/p>\n

my mom is alive, and recovering, my dad is in florida recovering from knee replacement surgery.<\/p>\n

my brother and i are splitting weekends in PA, so we can tend to the chores that need tending to at his farm.<\/p>\n

this weekend, i have to go.<\/p>\n

i just got an email from my boss that we are doing our full core\/datacenter move _this_ weekend, instead of next.<\/p>\n

this weekend is going to be a suicide weekend – work friday, friday night, i’m gonna try to snag a Palm Pre, then we start the datacenter move starting at 11, slated to run until 5am. then, i need to drive out to my dad’s farm (4.5 hours) so that i can do several hours of chores.<\/p>\n

i’ll crash, and come back sunday.<\/p>\n
