the top and bottom incision on the left side of my face are infected. the oral surgeon thought this would be a risk, as the gum line was infected and inflamed already when he took out the teeth on that side. i have been on antibiotics since i got the teeth extracted, i didn’t think it would be that big a deal.<\/p>\n
however, this morning, around 3:30, i tore the stitches on the top gum line. i think it is a combination of the swelling in the gum, and me grinding or suddenly shifting my teeth somehow in the night. it feels like i i have a chunk of glass stuck in my gum. the omfs’ office can’t see me until 11, but they told me not to take any painkillers until then.<\/p>\n
for the record, bloody gauze tastes like old dog shit.<\/p>\n
