{"id":859,"date":"2004-06-28T10:20:00","date_gmt":"2004-06-28T10:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/delascabezas.com\/blog\/index.php\/2019\/02\/20\/weekend-stuff\/"},"modified":"2019-02-20T21:56:37","modified_gmt":"2019-02-20T21:56:37","slug":"weekend-stuff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/delascabezas.com\/blog\/index.php\/2004\/06\/28\/weekend-stuff\/","title":{"rendered":"weekend stuff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>this weekend was good.  saturday <lj user=\"chellez\"> and i went engagement bling hunting in midtown.  that girl has expensive taste &#8211; she&#8217;s totally worth it though =).  i have decided that when i die, i want to come back as a member of the DeBeers family.<\/p>\n<p>we had a small runin with someone else&#8217;s misfortune, well described in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.livejournal.com\/users\/chellez\/390690.html?mode=reply\">her journal<\/a>.  saturday night, we had a good dinner with wangch61, and my bro.  it was good to see them. i really like <a href=\"http:\/\/newyork.citysearch.com\/profile\/11506125?cslink=search_name_noncust\">the diner bar<\/a>, even though they don&#8217;t make very good eggplant parm (this is the first meal i have had there that i didn&#8217;t love).<\/p>\n<p>yesterday was sorta a lounge day, though i was working on and off when time allowed for it. i have a few projects i need to get wrapped up, and one i am just getting started on. chellez has been booted in the head for the past week with a migraine &#8211; here&#8217;s to hoping that it doesn&#8217;t stay with her this week.  i made stuffed chicken breasts with fresh green beans and rice pilaf.  i also got into a busy mode in the kitchen, and made another meal for later in the week (gaucho&#8217;s pie, a texmex variant of shepherds pie).   got the laundry done, and cleaned the bathroom, to boot.<\/p>\n<p>entertainment wise, we had the misfortune of starting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0281686\/\">Bubba Ho Tep<\/a>.
